Key features
• Complex Modular Build
• London city centre construction
• BREEAM Very Good
Constructed in Central London (Zone 1), this new build, three storey CAT A office provides flexible, collaborative workspace for 180 museum staff, a ground floor café and breakout spaces. The two upper floors provide a combination of open workspace and formal and informal meeting areas.
Designed for flexibility, all floor plates are column-free with 14m clear spans, while the raised access floors allow full reconfiguration of the first and second floor shared spaces.
The building was delivered using a mixture of offsite modular and traditional construction techniques, requiring meticulous co-ordination of detail on and off site. The use of a common data environment allowed collaboration between all parties involved to ensure this was achieved, resulting in a seamless delivery on site.
