RPP Celebrates Completion of Phase One at Hilltop School Through The Great Yorkshire Build

We are proud to announce the successful completion of Phase One of Hilltop School’s £3 million transformation project — a major milestone delivered in partnership with the inspiring Yorkshire Children’s Charity (YCC) through The Great Yorkshire Build initiative.

Providing pro-bono quantity surveying services we get to work alongside an exceptional project team delivering this much-needed scheme for Hilltop School in Rotherham, a vital SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disability) school within the Nexus Multi Academy Trust.

In an impressive 15-week period, the team has completed a large internal reconfiguration, delivering:

  • Four brand-new classrooms

  • Upgraded WC and kitchenette facilities

  • New and improved staff spaces

  • Essential upgrades designed to support both learners and educators

This marks the first phase of a multi-stage redevelopment that will significantly improve the educational environment for Hilltop’s pupils.

Being able to contribute to a project with such meaningful social impact is something we’re incredibly proud of, and we look forward to supporting the ongoing transformation as we move into Phases Two and Three.

At the heart of RPP is a commitment to being a responsible corporate citizen and making a difference in the places where we work, and this is why we support The Great Yorkshire Build. Hilltop School marks the third SEND school re-build programme we have supported with pro-bono Cost Consultancy services. Previous projects include the 2022–23 Great Yorkshire Build at Brooklands in Skipton and the 2021–22 programme at Green Meadows in Leeds.
