Looking Ahead to 2026

As we step into the new year, we’re excited to continue working alongside our clients and project teams to deliver outstanding results and 2026 will see us reach key milestones on several significant schemes, including:

🎆 Q1 commencement on site at Bradford City Village, with the demolition of the Oastler and Kirkgate Shopping Centres to make way for nearly 1,000 modern, energy-efficient homes, public spaces, and new commercial areas.

🎆 Practical completion of Swanley Distribution Park in Q1 for Goya Developments, delivering a four-unit warehouse and industrial scheme with units ranging from 26,000 to 55,000 sq ft, alongside continuing works on five further sites.

🎆 Q2 delivery of Bierley Crematorium, the third and final facility to complete as part of Bradford Councils Bereavement Strategy to upgrade the city’s services.

🎆 Q3 completion of Foss Island, a PBSA development in York, delivering 133 high-end studios with an array of well-being amenities, ready for the new student in take for September 2026.

🎆 Construction progressing at SPARK Phase 2, delivering a further 101,341sq ft of high-quality, net zero-enabled space at HBD’s landmark logistics and manufacturing hub in Walsall, with completion planed for Q3.

🎆 A summer completion for our latest Dakota Hotels development at Manchester Airport, with progress continuing onsite at York.

🎆 Continuing roll out of Grideserve’s Electric Highway, including Charging Hubs, the Electric Forecourt at Markham Vale and the Electric Freightway for eHGV’s.

🎆 Excited to be involved in Duxford Av Tech, HBD’s pioneering project for Imperial War Museums (IWM) and Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge to deliver a 435,000 sq ft world class hub for aviation innovation.
