Completion of Foss Islands Road PBSA Development in York

Our latest Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) scheme recently completed, ready for Septembers new student intake!

Overlooking York’s historic city walls, the impressive Foss Islands Road development, delivered for Urbium Capital and Gregory Property Group, provides 133 high-quality studios across five floors, including seven fully accessible studios.

Designed to create a high-quality living and learning environment, the development also provides a range of communal social spaces across each level, complemented by an extensive range of first-class amenities.

These include co-working and study spaces, indoor and outdoor fitness areas, a cinema room, games and social spaces, laundry facilities and landscaped external areas, providing students with spaces to study, socialise and relax.

Multi-disciplinary consultancy from RPP

RPP provided a comprehensive multi-disciplinary service throughout the development, including Project Management, Cost Consultancy, Employer’s Agent, CDM Principal Designer, Party Wall and Quality Monitoring services.

Our integrated approach enabled effective coordination across the different disciplines and throughout each stage of the project lifecycle, supporting the project team in managing cost, programme, quality and delivery.

Completed on programme and within budget, Foss Islands Road is testament to the collaborative approach of the client, consultant and contractor teams involved in bringing the development forward.
