Completion at Bierley Crematorium for Bradford Council concludes the upgrade of all crematoria across the city

Our latest project completion sees the delivery of the new Bierley Crematorium for Bradford Council.

This exceptional facility includes a large service hall, a smaller hall for intimate services, waiting areas, office accommodation, staff welfare facilities and car parking.

Designed in line with the Council’s Environmental and Sustainability Strategy in tandem with the National Standards of Emissions, the new energy efficient cremators feature the latest mercury and nitrogen oxide abatement technology. The facility includes extensive memorial grounds as well as retained public rights of way.

The completion of Bierley Crematorium concludes the upgrade and replacement of all the crematoria across the city under the authority’s bereavement strategy which also saw the delivery of a new facility at Shay Grange, Heaton as well as major refurbishment of Oakworth.

As Lead Consultant, across all developments, it’s been a privilege to work alongside the wider design team, service providers and contractors, who all came together to deliver these important community facilities.
