The proposed development of the Axiom site at Junction 32, proposes the delivery of up to 1.52 million sq ft of employment floorspace, across about 13 units of varying sizes.
A separate planning application will see the redevelopment of the Castleford Tigers Wheldon Road stadium to Super League standards.
The site will also benefit from around three miles of new public paths and cycle routes.
